With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul E. McElvain of Fleming Island, Florida, born in Zanesville, Ohio, who passed away on February 27, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, George Grey and Alice Louise McElvain; his sons, Kenneth Paul McElvain and Clay Thomas McElvain; his grandsons, Paul Douglas Salazar and Nathan Michael Salazar; his sisters, Ruth Heitfield (Vernon) and Naomi Beam (Jim); his stepchildren, Steven Asher Jones and Beth Ann Salazar; and his sister-in-law Sarah Kathern Ramsey.

He is survived by : his wife Lou Ann McElvain; his grandchildren, Kaila Ann Dennis and Hunter Steven Jones; his great grandchildren, Lane Michael Salazar, Jameson Leonard Jones and Rylee Ann Dennis; and his stepdaughter Theresa Lynn McElvain. He is also survived by many other great nephews, nieces.
