She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Smith and Mary Smith (Guntle); her brothers, Eugene and Charles; and her son William "Billy" Whitlatch.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Whitlatch (Phyllis), Debra Newport and Sandra Dressler (Jimmy); and her siblings, Melvin Smith and Alice Stapler. She is also survived by four grandchildren, three great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren and numerous extended family.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jacksonville Memory Gardens (111 Blanding Blvd, Orange Park, FL 32073). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
