Richard leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Richard’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his father George Flakey Blanton; and his grandmother Georgia Burgin Wilson. He is survived by: his mother Carol Parker Blanton of Fleming Island; his children, Chelsea Howle (Jonathan) and Richard Blanton; his stepdaughter Danielle Stedham (Michael); his sister Tracey Lakey (Skip); his nieces, Shelby and Emma Lakey; his nephew Graham Lakey; and his aunt Nancy Lathan (Toy).
