We announce the death of Richard Lee Pittman of Fleming Island, Florida, who passed away on August 12, 2026, at the age of 65. Richard will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his brother Michael Pittman; his grandson Shepherd Swanson; and his grandparents, Arthur, Vera Rice, Madeline and Adlai Pittman Sr. Richard.
He is survived by: his parents, Irene Pittman and Adlai Pittman Jr.; his wife Stacee Jo Pittman; his children, Spencer Pittman (Brittany) and Chelsea Swanson (Blake); his grandchildren, Kam, Noah, Stone, Summer, Steele, Kowyn and Sadie; his siblings, Todd Pittman (Angie), Darlene Wasdin (John) and Kevin Pittman; the mother of his children Jill Pittman; his nieces and nephews, Kelly Zurvalec (Ryan), Victoria Stoshak (Jenson), Avery Davis (Reese), Cassidy Vescelus (Jackson), Braley Luxenberg (Matthew), Chandler and Preston Pittman; Bronson White (Haley). He is also survived by extended family, friends, coworkers.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Richard's memory to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, supporting research and treatment for those affected by acute myeloid leukemia (AML), or to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, a charity that was near and dear to Richard's heart.
