She was predeceased by: her parent Corbett Mulligan Mitchell; her husband Leonard DeGeer; her mother Luellen Mitchell (Mitchell); her siblings, Joseph, Mitchell, Thomas M. Mitchell and Oscar Homer; and her daughter Debra J. Lumley.
She is survived by: her daughter Kathy L. Barrios of Fleming Island, FL; and her grandchildren, Jason E. Michael of Inverness, FL, Julie M. Michael of Starke, FL and Dana N. Barrios-Moltmaker of Jacksonville, NC.. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
