He was predeceased by: his significant other Ann Dunson; and his parents, William Martin Dunson, Sr. and Mary Searls Dunson. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Dunson Steele of Florahome, Cindy Lowe (Chip) of Hastings, Kathy Davis (Dan) of Ellijay, GA, Ricky Smith (Toby) of Crescent City, Johnny Smith (Michelle) of Bunnell and Tommy Smith (Ellen) of Wheeling; his grandchildren, Martin "Brody" Steele (Taylor) and Summer Anne Steele (Gage Skipper); and his great grandchild Michael "Suede" Skipper. He is also survived by 8 great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Oakwood Cemetery (598 North St #400, Welaka, FL 32193).
