She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Brown and Ruth Brown. She is survived by: her children, Dolph Roder (Kacey) and Melissa Thies (late Thomas); and her granddaughter Charlotte Thies.
She devoted countless hours to charitable and community organizations, including the Red Cross, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and the Stranahan House to name a few.
