Deborah Drake Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deborah Drake in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, born in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 5, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George R. Drake and Marion Miller Drake; her brother George Drake; and her stepson Patrick Corgan. She is survived by: her husband Billy; her sister Trudy Drake Matley; her brother-in-law Bob Matley; her stepson William H. Corgan III (Jacqi); her nieces, Jill Matley Pearsall (George) and Stephanie Matley Engler (Dan); and her great-nephews, Tyler and Brayden Pearsall.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Macon Funeral Home (261 Iotla St, Franklin, NC 28734).
