It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve Nick in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Denny; her parents, Lawrence Kennedy and Bessie Kennedy; and her brothers, Charles and Arch.
She is survived by: her daughters, Diana Barfield and Laura Kaufman (Blair); her granddaughters, Julia Hubbard (Ryan) and Kathryn Vasil (David); and her great grandchildren, Emily, Denny, Jake, Ben, Claire and Logan.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont in her memory.
