He was predeceased by: his parents, John D. Evans Sr. and Hazel Evans; his wife Elsa B. Evans; and his sisters, Rita Jo Lee and Neva Ann Risavich.
He is survived by: his children, John D. Evans III (Camilla), Eugene Evans (Tara) and Michelle Jahrmarkt (Cliff); and his grandchildren, Stephanie, Ashley, Leelah, Gavin, Grant and Gregory. He is also survived by 3 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
