Though Wilbert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Wilbert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bethany Baptist Church of Fort Lauderdale (2200 NW 12th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens (499 NW 27th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311). A reception was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bethany Baptist Church of Fort Lauderdale (2200 NW 12th Ave, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33311).
