He was predeceased by: his parents, John Trantalis and Viola Trantalis (Topalis). He is survived by: his wife Elaine (Valace); his siblings, Dean (Jeffrey) of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Marilyn; his brother-in-law James Steinmuller of Coral Springs, FL; and his nephew Jonathan Steinmuller (Coral).
