As Mary Jo departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mary Jo may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mary Jo leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Virginia Trimble and James Trimble; her siblings, Pat Merritt and Jim Trimble; and her son James "JD" Altom.
She is survived by: her husband James Eugene Altom; and her daughters, Mary Morgeson (Rick) and Debby Richardson (Thomas). She is also survived by seven siblings; seven grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren.
