With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray Speer of Fort Meade, Florida, born in Arcadia, Florida, who passed away on November 24, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Preston Speer and Annie Gladys Tillis Speer; his wife Betty Moody Speer; his sister Laurie Speer Duke; and his close friend Edward Kemp.
He is survived by: his daughters, Constance Gail Speer of Fort Meade, FL, Carole Speer Faircloth (Scott) and Laurie Speer Haynes (Tony) of Elizabethton, TN; and his grandchildren, Brett Smith (Natalie), Michael Smith (Hillary), Kaleigh Smith Graham (Mason), Rhiannon Hillsgrove, Sumner Hillsgrove, Chaise Faircloth, Geneva Presutti and Dusty Haynes. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
