He is survived by: his children, Gail Carnley (Richard) of Fort Meade, Jackie Dodson of Lakeland, Bobby Dodson (Patricia) of North Carolina and David Dodson of Lakeland; and his sisters, Martha Dodson of Fort Meade and Ila Lee of Bartow. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
