He is survived by: his wife Janice M. Thompson of Fort Meade, FL; his siblings, Earle Hawley "Buzzy" Thompson, Jr. (Margaret) of Bartow, FL, Fay Thompson Hastey of Lakeland, FL and Karla Sue Venable of Mayo, FL; his extended family, Bobby, Keith and Kathy Durrance; and his siblings' children, Betty Ann Sykes (Gary) of Fort Meade, FL, Jesse Ragon of Fort Meade, FL, Barnett of Fort Meade, FL and Susan Hasty (Tommy) of Lakeland, FL. He is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
