We bid farewell to Barbara Jo Barrell in Fort Myers, Florida, born in Rochester, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 18, 2025 at the age of 71. Barbara touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Keith Amish and Josephine Amish (Merman); her children, James Barrell III (Brittany) of Monroe, GA and Lisa Armbruster (Eric) of Hernando, MS.; her grandchildren, Harper, Loxleigh, Rhett, Stetson and Harlow; and her husband James Barrell Jr. of Fort Myers, FL.
