He was predeceased by: his parents, Zeke F. Elkin and Rose Moller Elkin; and his wife Nita Myers Elkin. He is survived by: his children, Kathleen Turner (Jerry) of Fort Myers, Florida, Zach Elkin (Mary) of Vonore, Tennessee and Julie Young (Bruce) of Windemere, Florida.; his grandchildren, Kevin Greenwell (Robyn), Nita Stewart (Noah), Ben Elkin, Chris Elkin (Jessica), Brett Young (Teeci) and Taylor Young (Pinky); and his great grandchildren, Addyson Greenwell, Emersyn Greenwell, Turner Stewart, Fisher Stewart, Pax Stewart, Carter Young, Harley Young, Dax Elkin, Halle Elkin, Parker Young and Hayden Young.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Xxiii Catholic Church (13060 Palomino Ln, Fort Myers, FL 33912). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. John Xxiii Catholic Church (13060 Palomino Ln, Fort Myers, FL 33912).
