She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Ritzmann and Pauline Ritzmann; her sisters, Donna French, Wanda Nelson, Catherine Kailing and Florence Zimmerman; and her son Joey Cathell.

She is survived by: her husband Robert Cathell (Bobbie); her children, Sam and Dawn Vega; her grandchildren, Justin, Estefania Cathell, Sarah, Reid Dixon, Jared, Ledy Cathell and Samuel C Vega; and her great grandchildren, Leilani Cathell and Iroh Dixon.
