He is survived by: his wife Esther Childs; his children, Anita Zegers (Brian) and David Childs, Jr.; and his grandchildren, Calissa, Duncan, Luella, Elias and Finnegan.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Hope Presbyterian (10051 Plantation Rd, Fort Myers, FL 33966).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Glioblastoma Foundation.
