It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward James Monahan of Fort Myers, Florida, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on January 21, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome and Margaret; and his siblings, Dorothy, Jerome, Thomas, Charles and Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Rona; his sons, Edward II (Karen), Mark and Lee (Carol); his grandchildren, Kelly, Brian, Kevin, Shannon, Grace and Katelyn; and his great grandchild Lincoln.
