With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jan Peter Simpson of Fort Myers, Florida, born in Rochester, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Jan may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Molly I. Phillips; his parents, Don Simpson and Marion Simpson; and his sister Mary Kay Barker.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for your support of the Intermezzo Choir, a community outreach choir of the Fort Myers Symphonic Mastersingers supporting singers living with a diagnosis of Alzheimer's or dementia.
