He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lehnard and Edith Risser Musser; his former wife Gretchen Hutsell; and his sister Mary Ann Kliner. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Moore; his son Michael Musser; his daughter-in-law Colby Losey Musser; his sister Nancy Way; his granddaughter Abigail Musser; and his sisters-in-law, Joan Long, Marilyn Welshans and Germaine Weaver. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Harry Chapin Food Bank, First Assembly Ministries Missions Department, or Fort Myers Christian School.
