Larry Spencer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Spencer of Fort Myers, Florida, who passed away on June 30, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Larry had on those he encountered along his journey. Though Larry may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, his essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn Spencer and Bernice Spencer (Haggadone); and his sisters, Geraldine, Marilyn and Alma.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia Ann Thalner; and his children, Robert, Larry Dale Jr. (Brenda) and Jennifer Martin (Josh). He is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Wounded Warrior project.
