He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Mitchell and Anne Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Fountain Mitchell; his mother-in-law Mary Fountain; and his siblings, Lu Anne Weaver (David Weaver) and David Mitchell (Kim). He is also survived by aunts and uncles, along with many cousins.
