We announce the death of Mark Donovan of Fort Myers, Florida, who passed away on September 25, 2026, at the age of 63. Mark will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Mark will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Mark will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Mark’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Donovan and MaryAnne Donovan (Keenan); and his brother Donald Donovan, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gleisner; his daughters, Shelley Neuhlfen (Larry) and Sherri Gilson; and his siblings, Kelly DePardo (Tony) and Deanna Glenn (Garth).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home (614 Main St, Davenport, IA 52803). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
