He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Gage and Eleanor Gage (Mardon); his parents-in-law, Daniel and Margaret Del Duco; his siblings-in-law, Joseph Del Duco, Diann Masi (Del Duco) and Daniel Del Duco; and his pets, Spook and Nooby.
He is survived by: his spouse Florie Gage (Del Duco); his brother John Gage; and his siblings-in-law, Linda Dunatchik (Del Duco), Michael Del Duco and Anthony Del Duco. He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews; and 23 great-nieces and great-nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Helm Club at the Landings Yacht, Golf & Tennis Club (4420 Flagship Dr, Fort Myers, FL 33919). Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anne Church (825 S Ortonville Rd, Ortonville, MI 48462). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Ortonville Cemetery (175 N Ortonville Rd, Ortonville, MI 48462).
His final race was in Sebring, Florida, in 2005, where he placed third in the state and was recognized by the World Karting Association for his contributions to the sport.
