He was predeceased by: his parents, Timothy James and Ruth Irene Farrell; and his stepchildren, David Ward and Rachel Ward. He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Robert Farrell, Jr., Kellie Buerba (Joe), Cathy Campbell (Kevin) and Julie Smethurst (Hugh); and his stepchildren, Stephen Ward, Shirley Ward and Kimberley Ward. He is also survived by three grandsons and seven great-grandchildren.
