He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Jefferson and Clara Amanda Key (Knox). He is survived by: his wife Sara Key (Copeland); his children, Chad Key and Kelly Huguenin (Mark); and his siblings, J. C. Key (Sandra), Frances Sesler and Wanda Daugherty. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
