He was predeceased by: his father Triever Smith. He is survived by: his wife Rose Mary; his sons, Michael, Mark Smith (Kathi), Joseph Ball (Vicki) and David "Shane" Ball (Angela); and his brother Arnold Smith. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
