With sadness, we share the passing of Velda Swift of Fort Myers, Florida. Velda, born on March 15, 1932, passed away on August 29, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Elliott and Gladys Elliott (Clark); her spouse Lee Swift; and her siblings, Onalee Kraus, Chester, Charlie and William Elliott.
She is survived by: her siblings-in-law, Sandi Elliott, Anna Mae Bailey and James Kraus. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and 9 Godchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Erie United Methodist Church (1100 E Samaria Rd, Erie, MI 48133). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to Erie United Methodist Church.
