With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter James Ryan of Fort Myers, Florida, born in Saranac Lake, New York, who passed away on July 28, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, D. Walter Ryan and Anne B. Ryan (Campbell) of Saranac Lake, NY; and his siblings, R. Patrick Ryan of Ticonderoga, NY and Marilyn Clement (Ryan) of Saranac Lake, NY.. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ryan (Kavoukian); his sons, W. James Ryan, Jr. (Brenda Ryan) of Raritan, NJ and Michael R. Ryan of Saranac Lake, NY.; his grandchildren, Stephanie Mauro, Matthew Ryan, Leanne Riera and Jennifer Kinch; Audrey Anne Maloney (Ryan), Mari-Ellen, William, James and Joseph.
