William leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. William’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew William will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Killus and Charlotte Killus (Reed). He is survived by: his wife Elaine V. Erickson; his children, Amy Ries (Greg) of Pekin and Bret Killus (Edith) of Gilbert, Arizona; his grandchildren, Jordan Ries of Washington, D. C. and Deven Ries of Bloomington; his sister Vicky Killus of Danforth; and his brother-in-law Dean Erickson of Pontiac.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory (500 N 4th St, Pekin, IL 61554).
