He was predeceased by: his parents, Whitfield Watson and Carrie Dixon Watson; and his siblings, Charlie McLean, Willie Dixon and Shirley Spurlock.
He is survived by: his wife Daisy Watson; his children, Michael Watson (Margo) of Georgia, Reginald Watson (Amy) of New Jersey and Leah Watson of Georgia; and his siblings, Tony Watson (North Carolina), Minnie (Pat) and Simpson (South Carolina). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, along with a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
