She was predeceased by: her parents, Freeman H. Dunn and Julia T. Dunn; her sister Vivian P. Sapp (Buck); and her niece Michelle Summerlin Smith. She is survived by: her sister Jean Spivey (Ray); her children, Jason W. Lyda (Janet) and Alicia Lyda-Tripp (Stacey); her grandchildren, Madisyn Kruse, Makenzie Kruse, Justin Booth, John "Drew Boo" Booth, Julie Lyda and Graycee Fisher; and her great grandchildren, Damien Booth and Scarlette Booth.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Orange Avenue Baptist Church (100 Cyclone Dr, Fort Pierce, FL 34945). A funeral service was held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
