He is survived by: his wife Genova Monroe; his children, Sandra Monroe of Fort Pierce, FL, Wanda Monroe-Dykes (Henry) of Tallahassee, FL and Eugene Monroe, Jr. (Dewana) of Quincy, FL.; his siblings, Catherine Monroe, Thomasina Monroe, Tawana Monroe of Quincy, FL., William Monroe of Quincy, FL and Randy Monroe of Abilene, TX; and his brother-in-law Alex Tullis (Jackie) of Birmingham, AL. He is also survived by grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
