He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis C. Harris Jr. and Alma Faye Secrest of Fort Pierce, FL.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Katherine "Kitty" Mahaffey; his pets, Fritz and Brandy; his son Cal Harris (Christine); his siblings, Pat Harris (Patty), Faye Monk, Cynde Diminovich (Gerald) and Carla Ann Orcutt (Bill); and his grandchildren, Katie (Brian), Trappy, Allie Fulton (Marshall) and Clarissa Bell. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren; three nephews and two nieces.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Lucie County Benevolent Firefighters Association.
