He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Heath and Mary Alice Heath; his wife Josephine Heath; his children, Johnny Manning, Jr. and Leonia Ingram; and his siblings, Tempie Louise Heath Sharpe, Ella Mae Brown, Minnie Pearl Wooten, Mary Jones, James Stanley, William Toney Heath, Albert Heath, Jesse Heath and Charlie Heath.

He is survived by: his daughters, Gloria Harris, Jannie Worthington, Gwen Pitts, Mary Hicks and Sharon Hicks; his stepson Willie Hicks; and his siblings, James Heath and Doris Heath. He is also survived by grandchildren, 24, great grandchildren.
