He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Willems and Joan Willems; his siblings, David Willems and Melissa Willems; and his brother-in-law David Clasby.

He is survived by: his children, Jon "Jon Jon" Willems Jr. (Jayde) and Chloe Willems (Brandon); his grandchildren, Lily, Ava, Juliana and Anthony; and his siblings, Tanya Knappman, Donnie Willems, Tama Clasby, Teddy Willems and Marty Willems.
