He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Tolbert of Fort Pierce, Florida, Brenda Patterson (Alvin) of Fort Pierce, Florida, Rita Chambers of Fort Pierce, Florida, Alice Anderson of Fort Pierce, Florida, Ellis Anderson Jr. of Fort Pierce, Florida and Carl Anderson (Sandra) of Fort Pierce, Florida; his mother-in-law Odessa Avant; his stepchildren, Waketa Avant, Tangerald Avant, Sierra Baker, Carrington Ferguson and Larry Baker Sr.; and his siblings-in-law, Renia Daughtry, Debra Warren, Janice Johnson, Connie Avant, Paul Avant Jr. and James Avant. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, other family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sarah's Memorial Chapel (728 Ave D, Fort Pierce, FL 34948). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the One Lord One Faith One Baptism House (1404 Avenue E, Fort Pierce, FL 34950).
