He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Hoeffner and Margaret Hoeffner; and his siblings, Patricia, Sally Hoeffner and Robert Hoeffner.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Hoeffner (Cornille); his children, Kevin Hoeffner (Debbie) and Jennie (Hoeffner) Capezza (Louis); his siblings, Bill Hoeffner, Gerry Hoeffner (Mendi), Susie Trundle (Terry) and Lisa Hoeffner; his grandchildren, Brianna Rouse (Josh), Jacob Hoeffner (Hope), Lauren Hoeffner, Kate Capezza, Abbey Capezza and Luke Capezza; and his great grandchild Kai Rouse.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church.
