He was predeceased by: his parents, Rosa Lee Hayes and Henry Oliver. He is survived by: his close friend Anna McNabb; his sister Mary; his sons, Alex Oliver, Jr., John Oliver and Keith Oliver (Shameka); and his close friend Cyrill Bullard. He is also survived by one daughter; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins.
