It is with sadness that the passing of Betty Maddock (Fort Walton Beach, Florida) is shared. Betty, born on June 15, 1928 in Mattoon, Illinois, passed away on May 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Wildman and Cleaves Ball; her brother Cleaves Jr.; her significant other Austin Meyer; her son-in-law Joseph Creel; and her son Grady.

She is survived by: her children, Hjordis Creel, Shelley Caruso (Tony) and Scott Maddock; and her grandchildren, Janna, Rachel, Michael, Christopher and Matthew. She is also survived by four great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Betty's name can be made to Fort Walton Beach Community Chorus or Silver Sands School , Fort Walton Beach.
