She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Walden and Myra Walden; and her children, Nicki Simmons Chapman (Darrell), John Simmons, Jr. and Raymond Simmons.
She is survived by: her husband John Lloyd Simmons, Sr.; her daughter Eva Simmons Till (late Evon); and her grandchildren, Melodie Hall Conti (Christopher Brown), Dena Chapman Willis (Brad), Debbie Chapman Moore (Chris), Elizabeth Chapman Meredith (James) and Tonee Simmons Decker (Mark).
A funeral service was held on Monday, December 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Emerald Coast Funeral Home (161 Racetrack Rd NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547).
