He is survived by: his sister Rose Kunkel Roarty; his wife Judith Hampel Vachon; his children, Jean Carter (Tommy), Paul Vachon (Sheryl) and Roy Vachon (Elizabeth); and his grandchildren, Jason Carter (Molly), David Vachon (Jenna), Kimberly Vachon (Evan), Jennifer Johnson (Joshua), George Vachon (Rachael) and Jamie Vachon (Liz). He is also survived by his many great-grandchildren.
