He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfrid Vachon and Pauline Vachon; and his former wife Patricia Ann Vachon. He is survived by: his sister Rose Kunkel Roarty; his wife Judith Hampel Vachon; his children, Jean Carter (Tommy), Paul Vachon (Sheryl) and Roy Vachon (Elizabeth); and his grandchildren, Jason Carter (Molly), David Vachon (Jenna), Kimberly Vachon (Evan), Jennifer Johnson (Joshua), George Vachon (Rachael) and Jamie Vachon (Liz). He is also survived by his many great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Emerald Coast Funeral Home (161 Racetrack Rd NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32547). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM and at 3:30 PM at the Beal Memorial Cemetery (316 Beal Pkwy NW, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548).
