We announce the death of Eva Latitia Long Willard of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, who passed away on August 1, 2026, at the age of 101. Eva will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Long and Stella Long; her husband John L. Willard; and her sisters, Matilda Byers, Arnette Major, Sadie Meadows, Ruth Cooner and Judy Mahaffey.

She is survived by: her children, John Willard, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Gulf Breeze, Micheal Willard (Laurene) of Merritt Island, Bonnie Willard (Bob) of Arizona and Joan Vinton (Neil) of Michigan; her nieces and nephews, Steve Mahaffey, Stanley Mahaffey, Jack Major, Hazel Franklin and Clara Winter; her grandchildren, Jason (Brigit), Levi, Lacey (Nick), Christina (Eric) and Sydney (Dallas); and her great grandchildren, Ava, Eli and Trace.
