She was predeceased by: her parents, Andreas Thiel and Clarinda Thiel (Vredenberg); her siblings, Andreas, George, Walter Thiel, Alice (Montemuro) and Jean (Brecska); her former husband Edward John Levendusky; and her stepson Joseph Salvatore.

She is survived by: her daughters, Dawn and Debra Livingston (David); her stepchildren, Wanda Kirzonick (Jim), Alaina Salvatore and Walter Salvatore Jr.; and her sister Ruth Gitter. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
