She is survived by: her children, Mary Elizabeth Potthast, James Paul Potthast, Jr. and Charlotte Marie Potthast (Charlie); her sister Bertha Orton of Kansas; and her brother-in-law Alfred J. Potthast of California. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
