It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gary John Cmeyla of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, born in Algoma, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 29, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Cmeyla and Ursula Cmeyla (Hunsader); his former wives, Ellen Jane Cmeyla and Arlene Cmeyla; and his brothers, Joe and Mike.

He is survived by: his wife Yolanda Cmeyla; his children, Christine Marie Allen (Scott), Scott Alan Cmeyla (Renee) and William Paul Cmeyla (Sarah); his stepchildren, Bryan Scott Pike, Kelly Marie Hudson and Kari Michelle Paramore; his grandchildren, Tony, Alex, Nathan, Jane, Hannah, Miriam, Micah, Bethany and Lindsay; his great grandchildren, Cooper and Maisie; his siblings, Teresa, Chuck and Andy; and the mother of his children Ellen Jane Cmeyla. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Emerald Coast Church in Gary's memory.
