He was predeceased by: his parents, Alberta Hough and Alphonso Burney; his siblings, Lovie Mae Comer, Clara Smith, Sarah Hough, Curtis Scott and Freddie Hough; and his stepmother Irene Burney.
He is survived by: his children, Edner M. Woods (Georgia), James Woods, Willie Woods (Georgia) and Gloria K. Hough (Georgia); his sisters, Betty Belser and Curley Burrows; his granddaughter Brittany Woods of Washington, D. C.; and his former wife Mae L. Hough. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
